To Heart Counseling in Spokane provides safe, confidential, licensed counseling services. Our office is located conveniently in the heart of Spokane, where we provide counseling to groups, families, individuals and couples. Our team includes seven skilled counselors who can help deal with any issue.
The Heart to Heart team of registered/licensed counselors is
supervised by Clinical Director Judy Thornton, MSW who has
been counseling in Washington State since 1989. Judy received
her Master of Social Work degree in 1991. She has been
admitted to the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and
is licensed by the State of Washington as a Licensed
Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She specializes in
counseling, psychotherapy, and professional supervision of
other counselors and social workers. In addition, she has been
sought as an expert to provide legal testimony.
While
Judy's orientation is eclectic, she has received specialized
training and experience in Counseling, Hypnotherapy,
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro
Linguistic Programming (NLP), Guided Imagery, Impact Personal
Development, Psychodrama, Transactional Analysis, Group
Therapy, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Arica
Protoanalytical System and Family and Inner-child Therapies.
Many clients have discovered that these diverse philosophies
provide a rich and nurturing medium for inspiration and
growth.
